You are what you eat.

You mean you eat the same thing every day?

How many of you have heard this or something like this? 🙋‍♂️

The old saying of, “you are what you eat” really plays a huge role in your health. While eating the same thing over and over again gets boring, I know exactly what I’m eating. I also know how to cook it and prep my daily meals much quicker than trying to make new things all the time. It’s already hard enough to eat healthy! Why add in complexity to a diet? Too many of y’all are focused on ‘good’ versus ‘bad’ when you should be focused on consistency!! The first step to getting better at something is trying. The second step is repeating that effort over and over and over and...you get it! You’ve got to keep repeating the process for a while before you can actually say it doesn’t work. Stop trying things for two days and expecting to see huge results! I know we live in a world where everything comes to us so easily and so quickly, but health and wealth aren’t things that come quickly or easily(for most)!!!!! 

If you have trouble keeping yourself accountable, ask a friend for help. I’m not talking about a friend who always tells you what you want to hear. I’m talking about a REAL friend who tells you what you NEED to hear no matter how it’s going to make you feel in the moment. Trust me, you’ll be thankful later on down the road!

So, if can’t do it yourself and you don’t have friends around that’ll help push you to be better, you need to go find some REAL friends. That’s right, not new one, but real ones! Those people you call ‘friends’ aren’t really friends if they aren’t helping you to be better!
