What you focus on is how your diet is going to turn out

When we focus on what we can't eat and how we can't go out to eat we become miserable.

Our diet seems like such a hassle and we end up stressing out which causes us to retain weight or even gain weight which is the opposite of what we want to do.

So, instead of focusing on the "lack of" in our diet, we need to focus on what we will gain from the diet.

Confidence, better looks, our health, discipline; you name it. You can gain a lot from a diet!
